Late night implosion marks latest stage of power station demolition.
Late last night, just as dusk was turning to night, the team from Brown and Mason felled the tallest free-standing structure in Scotland – the 236 metre tall smoke stack at Inverkip – to mark the latest phase in a long-running power station decommissioning and demolition programme.
And DemolitionNews – or, rather, our video partners Django Ltd – was there to capture the action first-hand.
The following video is a world-exclusive containing behind the scenes footage available nowhere else. It is also a forerunner of a Brown and Mason film that is scheduled to air later this week.
