We joined the biggest names in construction journalism for a day behind the levers.
With a CV that includes the rolling of three different machines in three different countries, I had long since given up on equipment operation as a career path. In fact, it’s more than 10 years since I lost drove a machine in anger (and maybe anger is half my problem).
However, when the world’s largest construction equipment operator calls and offers you a chance to get your hands on some of its latest equipment alongside two of the biggest names in UK construction equipment journalism – Earthmovers’ Graham Black and Nick Drew of The Digger Man Blog, you set aside any trepidation and you head for Desford.
