Amateur video records text book implosion and remarkably blue Birmingham sky!
Those readers that tore themselves away from the Sunday roast or an afternoon of football yesterday will know that DSM and PDC imploded the Normansell Tower high rise block in Aston, Birmingham yesterday morning.
Well, we scoured the Internet and we finally found some raw, shaky and largely unedited video of the implosion that is probably most remarkable for the colour of the Birmingham sky in the background. The actual implosion doesn’t take place until about two minutes in, so be patient and just enjoy that rare and unique bird that is a blue sky over Brum:
