Rosenblatt Stadium demolition proceeds; press box taken down.
The demolition of Omaha’s Rosenblatt Stadium continued earlier today, as explosives were deployed to bring down the press box behind home plate.
The former home of the College World Series and the Omaha Royals (Class AAA; Pacific Coast League) is coming down this summer to make way for an expansion of the next-door zoo. The grandstand is gone and the playing field is no more.
