Hull’s Orchard Park tower block demolition to start with Sunday implosion.
A high-rise block of flats on a Hull estate is set for demolition this weekend.
the 22-storey Bridgeman House, on the Orchard Park estate, is due to be demolished on Sunday at about 10:00 BST.
It is the first of five tower blocks due to be destroyed. The rest will be demolished by 2015, the council said.
The demolition is part of a £15m housing scheme to build 115 new houses and refurbish 100 flats from the Gorthorpe and Kinthorpe blocks.
