Wuth the sun setting over Demolition News Towers, our collective thoughts had turned to food, beer and slouching in front of the TV when an unprompted email landed unexpectedly in our inbox. And we’re delighted that it did.
The video you are about to see comes courtesy of our new buddy Adolfo Garcia Alonso from Voladuras y Demoliciones in Concepcion, Chile and beautifully captures the demolition of the Freedom Tower damaged in an earthquake at the beginning of 2010.
There is some really good footage of demolition robots in action; some top-notch time-lapse footage of the tower coming down; and unquestionably the best soundtrack we have EVER heard on a demolition video.
