High reach excavator finally fells resilient French tower.
Almost exactly a week ago, we brought you a video of a pair of high reach excavators doing battle with a tower block in Nancy, France. Today, we’re delighted to bring you an update on that same contract with a series of videos showing just how resilient the teetering tower was to the bitter end.
In particular, we would draw your attention to some of the less-than-conventional methods emplyed around the five minute mark in the third video in which the operator apparently resorts to swatting the structure in the hope that it will finally succumb:
