Previously unseen footage of the 1992 implosion of the UK’s Bold Power Station cooling towers.
The loft here at Demolition News Towers is filled with little more than vinyl LPs from the 1980s and other detritus from our misspent youth.
But a YouTube user’s loft contained something a little more interesting than a white label German import of Thin Wall by Ultravox; he discovered a previously unseen film of the 1992 implosion of the three cooling towers at the Bold Power Station in Merseyside. And while it might not be as good for dancing as that Ultravox song, it does make for great viewing.
