State police demonstrate why explosive demolition really is best left to the experts.

As a law-abiding citizen, I reckon the police do a pretty good job, often in extremely difficult circumstances. They largely keep the peace, generally get the bad guy and – aside from the occasional wrongful arrest, incidence of brutality and institutional racism – we’re all lucky to have them on our side.

But, as the saying goes, every man should know his limitations. And it appears that the police’s limitations to do not exceed to the simple matter of using explosives to punch a hole in a suspect’s front door.

We won’t spoil the outcome but the following video does give a whole new meaning to the term “excessive force”.
