NFDC set to reinstate Essex company’s membership.
Chelmsford-based demolition contractor Micor Limited has been welcomed back into the National Federation of Demolition Contractors fold following a temporary suspension on 24 November 2011.
In accordance with standard NFDC procedures, the company worked with the Federation’s Accident Investigation Committee and – following further site audits under the Federation’s Accredited Site Audit Scheme – has now seen its status as an NFDC Corporate Member reinstated.
“Obviously, we are delighted that our Corporate Membership status has been reinstated. From the moment we joined the NFDC, we have been aware of the very high standards of best practice and safety that it sets. And we constantly aspire to maintaining those standards,” says Micor’s Michael Corridan. “As the reputation of the NFDC rests upon each of its individual Corporate Members, it was only right that the Federation should carry out its own investigation. We were pleased to be a part of that investigation and we are delighted that we are back as full Corporate Members now that investigation is complete.”
