Attachments specialist launches commemorative web page as it celebrates its 50th year.
At a time when companies seem to be failing at ever more alarming rates, it is pleasing to note that attachments specialist and long-time DemolitionNews supporters ECY (Holdings) Ltd is celebrating its 50th birthday.
ECY Holdings Limited was founded in 1961, by brothers Eric and Colin Yarwood. Today, the business remains a family affair, being owned and run by the sons of the firm’s founders, cousins Richard and Philip Yarwood.
Since its foundation, the company has been associated with the hydraulic breaker business and was a well-established Rammer/Sandvik dealer for many years before being awarded the Furukawa distributorship which we exclusively revealed back in November. These products are complemented in the ECY range by other attachments including the Xcentric Ripper, the Stanley LaBounty range of demolition and scrap-processing shears and the Swedish-manufactured OilQuick quick coupler systems.
To celebrate its 50th birthday, ECY has created a special commemorative web page that charts the company’s rise from regional supplier to national force.
You can view that web page here and trust that you’ll join us in wishing the ECY team a very happy birthday.
