Collaborative thinking aids US contractor

Late yesterday afternoon, just as the sun was setting upon Demolition News Towers, we received an email from a US contractor with a problem.

He was looking for a safe way to remove lead paint from surfaces on a work site as part of the pre-demolition phase of a contract.

Unfortunately, most demolition contractors that invite us onto site do so once the big equipment has arrived, long after lead paint has been removed. So we were unable to help.

However, an email to two of our closest friends in the US yielded a pair of answers within the space of half an hour; providing a timely reminder of just what we set out to achieve when we created this site more than three years ago; and affording a further example of this industry’s willingness to set aside competitiveness to help their fellow demolition professional.
