Who are the demolition industry’s movers and shakers in the weird and wired world of Twitter?
In just a few short years, the social network Twitter has evolved from a novelty hangout where you could find out what Lady GaGa had for breakfast to a vital and up-to-the minute media stream that manages to break important news far more quickly than any established news network.
Its growth and adoption in business has been staggering, and Twitter has enjoyed particular success in the demolition field where an increasingly web-savvy group of companies and individuals have created what amounts to an online version of a trade association; like-minded individuals sharing ideas, comments and information as they would at an industry seminar.
Although there are hundreds (if not thousands) of demolition folk on Twitter these days, we have decided to bring you what we consider to be our Top 25 Demolition Tweeters. These are chosen entirely by us based upon the activeness of the Twitter account, the influence of the individual behind that account, and – in some instances – because they bring a smile to our face.
Our Top 25 Demolition Twitterers, in no particular order, are:
1. @DemolitionNews (well, we could hardly leave ourselves out now, could we?)
2. @johnwoodward (the IDE president is an active user of Twitter)
