The wrecking ball may have been consigned to the dark end of most European contractors’ equipment yards, but these machines still have a great many loyal fans. Indeed, the Demolition News Towers mailbag is regularly filled with complaints that we favour supposedly sexy high reach excavators and massive implosions over the machines that were once the mainstay of the industry.
