New CDI video captures spectacular bridge implosion in extreme close-up.
Just last week, we were the first to bring you the raw footage of the controlled implosion of the Fort Steuben bridge across the Ohio River. But while that shaky, long-distance footage satisfied our initial curiosity, we have been waiting for some higher quality, close-up film of what proved to be a spectacular blast.
Thanks to the team at CDI which carried out the blast for main contractor Joseph B. Fay Company of Pennsylvania, we can now ring you that footage:
