Four of the best presentations from last week’s IDE Spring Seminar.
Flip HD cameras are all well and good but their battery life does place certain limitations upon our ability to capture all of the action at some events. So we were pretty selective in the footage we shot at last week’s Institute of Demolition Engineers’ Spring Seminar. We skipped Chris Holland of Coleman and Company’s excellent presentation on the Birmingham New Street Station because we’d reported on it at a previous NFDC Demolition Day; we skipped Terry Jago’s valiant attempts at forewarning the industry of what the UK’s new Control of Asbestos Regulations are likely to mean; and the battery had waved a small white flag long before First Planet’s Graham Gilbert got to the podium.
