NDTG welcomes new chairman, Richard Dolman
Richard Dolman of AR Demolition was named the new chairman of the UK’s National Demolition Training Group at today’s NDTG Annual General Meeting following a shock ballot prompted by chairman-in-waiting
Richard Comley’s decision to stand down due to health issues.

The appointment of Dolman to the top job in the NDTG marks the culmination of a remarkable rise through the industry ranks for Dolman. Less than four years ago, Dolman was yet to be admitted to the National Federation of Demolition Contractors and was a little-known newcomer in NDTG circles.

But as a committed advocate of the NDTG’s drive for a fully competent and carded workforce, Dolman has become a familiar figure at NFDC, NDTG and IDE functions. Although his appointment came as little surprise to NDTG members, his nomination had clearly taken Dolman by surprise.

In a hastily prepared speech, Dolman vowed to continue the work of predecessor Jim Caldwell and admitted that he had appropriated many of his key aims from Richard Comley.
