World Explosive Demolition Contractor of the Year Fabio Bruno has dropped the 42,000 square metre Benfica favela known locally as CCPL in yet another impressive implosion.
The buildings – the former factory of Central Cooperative Milk Producers (CCPL) – had been disused for ten years and had been invaded by homeless people.
The buildings will be replaced by extensive new housing.
