Police believe slain man was shot over “grudge”.
Philippine police believe that the death of a demolition team member in Magallanes Extension, Bankerohan, Davao City, was “work-related”.
Ruel Canete Pantinople, 41, a member of demolition team in Bankerohan gunned down by an unidentified man around 9:30 pm on December 15.
Superintendent Antonio Rivera, chief of the Davao City Police Office’s Intelligence and Detection Management Branch (DCPO-IDMB), said the suspect was already identified, but he refused to give further details as the investigation is still ongoing.
He said a witness told police that the suspect might have a grudge on the victim.
“We are still conducting further investigation to verify the report of the witness, so as of now, we cannot yet confirm or divulge the name of the alleged suspect,” Rivera said.
