Snowy Sunday morning marks explosive end for Stoke School.
The first high school to close as part of Stoke-on-Trent’s £261 million education reorganisation was demolished by controlled explosion earlier today.
Longton High, in Meir, shut as a school last summer and had been operating as a satellite site for nearby Sandon Business and Enterprise College.
The implosion was handled by Precision Demolition Company on behalf of Connell Brothers.
