Explosive end for hilltop building.
A hilltop in Montreynaud provided a superb vantage point for the implosion of a 63 metre building in Saint-Etienne, France. Built in 1973, the building was 63 metres tall but an antenna on the roof took the total height to 92 metres.
A 1,000 cubic metre water tower on the roof also made life tricky for the as-yet-unnamed demolition contractor.
