The worrying list of 2011 on-site fatalities continues to grow with another US death.
A demolition worker at a South Side Chicago demolition site was killed yesterday when a piece of a concrete beam fell on him, authorities said.
The victim, a man in his 40s, had been working on the top floor of the three-story building when the beam and part of the ceiling fell on him, according to Gresham District police Lt. John Francis.
