Investigation underway following fatal accident at former Cadbury factory.
It’s five days since Demolition News exclusively reported on the death of a demolition worker at the former Cadbury factory in Keynsham.
Although the man – believed to be in his 20s – remains unnamed, contractor Euro Dismantling Services Ltd (EDS) has instigated an investigation into the tragic incident.
In an official statement, the company says:
“EDS can confirm a fatal accident has taken place at a Cadbury’s site in Keynsham. We extend our deepest sympathy to the family of the deceased. An investigation by the police and Health and Safety Executive is underway. Until that investigation is complete, it is inappropriate for us to comment further.”
