Three workers injured in school building roof collapse.
Three demolition workers were injured when the roof of the building they were working on in Stoke-on-Trent collapsed.
It happened just before 09:00 yesterday at the site of an old school building, near Fenton Manor Swimming Pool.
The men, who were not seriously hurt, were taken to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said the men had a “lucky escape”. The Health and Safety Executive is investigating.

A man in his 40s sustained chest injuries. A colleague, thought to be in his 30s, received arm and lower back injuries and crews also treated a man in his 30s for an ankle injury.
The health and Safety Executive is investigating.
