Giant breakfast demolished…

Demolition man demolishes record-breaking 7,500 calorie breakfast.

No matter how much you love a Full English breakfast, The Big One at the Hungry Horse Cafe in Corby is hard to swallow. Weighing in at a belt-busting three kilograms and 7,500 calories (three times the recommended daily intake for an adult male) The Big One comprises three sausages, three burgers, three fried eggs, three bacon rashers, three black pudding slices, three square sausage slices and triple servings of beans and mushrooms, together with triple helpings of potato waffles, potato scones, hash browns, fried bread portions and three rounds of bread and butter and toast.

But 29-year old demolition man Steven Magee was equal to the task, polishing off the edible heart attack in one hour and 20 minutes, washed down with six cups of tea. Not bad for a man who claims he usually has only cereal for breakfast!

In return for his feat, Magee got his £12 breakfast free and earned the undying respect of his fellow demolition workers across the land…and, probably, a hefty surcharge from the company supplying his site’s Portaloo!
