New iPhone and iPad app delivers the latest news to you, as it happens.
DemolitionNews is delighted to announce that its long-awaited iPhone/iPad app is now available to download FREE in the Apple App Store.
The app has been designed to deliver the industry news, views and comment to readers’ hand-held devices, ensuring that they have the very latest news at their fingertips, wherever they are.
“There are other iPhone apps for the demolition industry but none deliver news on such a regular, rapid and real-time basis,” says DemolitionNews founder Mark Anthony. “We have seen from the rise and rise in demand for our unique mix of news and comment that demolition professionals are no longer happy to read out-of-date news. They want up-to-the-minute information and they want it now. And that’s precisely what the new app delivers.”
Anthony says that the app appeals to a new breed of constantly-connected demolition professionals. “This industry is so fast-moving that the modern demolition man wants and needs a constant flow of information. And traditional magazines are no longer able to satisfy that demand,” he continues. “With the advent of the Web, email and now handheld apps, we can deliver information instantly, and interact with our readers like never before.”
The creation of the new app has been driven entirely by reader demand,” Anthony reports. “When DemolitionNews started almost three years ago, virtually all our readers came to us via Internet Explorer. But, as our readership has become increasingly web-savvy, that profile has changed,” he explains. “Today, we have readers regularly accessing our site using everything from computers to PS3 and Wii games consoles. And iPhone and iPad users are our fastest growing readership sector so it seemed fitting to give them an even faster way to access the information they require.”
