Delta Demolition optimistic after Coast Guard gives thumbs up.
Could the Bellaire Bridge come down as early as this month? According to Delta Demolition’s Lee Chaklos, the Coast Guard has given them the thumbs up on the removal.
However, according to officials with the City of Benwood, there is a list of 15 items that was handed over to the demolition company last June and not all of them have been completed.
Chaklos told 7 News that they have finished such things as the engineering report and traffic control plans that were missing or needed updated.
