High reach excavator accident catapulted eight foot steel chain across car park.
Two weeks after the jewel in the Adamo Demolition equipment fleet came crashing down on the Ford Auditorium demolition site in Detroit, more details have emerged that underline just how close the incident came to being a tragedy.
When the Cat machine fell, it apparently catapulted an eight foot section of heavy steel chain into a neighbouring parking lot, damaging two police cars and narrowly missing at least one individual who had been sat in his car just moments before.
The news comes as more “user-generated” photos of the accident come to light.
