Worker dismantling a building dies after frame structure collapses in Morristown
A town official says a worker who was dismantling a building in Shelby County has died after the structure collapsed.
Morristown Town Marshal Henry Albrecht says the man was working on a metal truss about 20 feet above the ground when the frame structure collapsed. Indianapolis media outlets report that the man was airlifted to IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities have not yet identified the man.
