IDE helps man realise his demolition dream.
Regular readers will recall the story of Gabor Prudencio, the Hungarian-born engineer who came to the UK (via Bolivia) to follow his dream of working in the world’s most advanced demolition industry.
At the time, we interviewed Prudencio and made the UK demolition industry aware of his hopes and ambitions. But, as a lowly website, there was only so much we could do. Thankfully, his cause was taken up by John Woodward and Duncan Rudall at the Institute of Demolition Engineers who together ensured that Prudencio received the training and competence cards needed to help him fulfil his ambition of becoming a true demolition engineer.
And we’re delighted to report that the IDE’s assistance, together with Gabor’s tireless perseverance, has finally paid off and he is joining one of the UK’s most forward-thinking and respected demolition companies, Armac Group.
“I am delighted that Gabor has agreed to join Armac. I’m sure his experience will be a major asset for us in the future,” says Armac managing director Mark Dudley. “Similarly, we will benefit tremendously from Gabor’s wealth of experience and motivation in the role.”
We wish Gabor and Armac every success together and would like to personally thanks John Woodward and Duncan Ruddal for their altruistic assistance in helping Gabor achieve his goal.
