Demolition and salvage company exploring opportunities for disused mill site.
NewPage Corp.’s former Kimberly mill has been purchased by AIM Demolition USA LLC. In a statement today, NewPage and AIM Demolition said the companies have entered into an “asset purchase agreement,” allowing AIM to buy the Kimberly mill from NewPage.
AIM Demolition USA said it is exploring various avenues regarding the potential future of the site. NewPage closed the mill in September 2008.
AIM Demolition USA LLC is an affiliate of American Iron & Metal Co. Inc., one of the largest metal recycling companies in North America, headquartered in Montreal, Canada.
