Workers hospitalised after sulfuric acid leak at DuPont facility.
Two contractors assisting in the demolition of a DuPont Co. production unit in Kanawha County were exposed to sulfuric acid from a loose hose.
Media outlets report the acid was released shortly after 1 p.m. Tuesday as contractors worked to tear down the acid-production unit in Belle.
County emergency services officials say both workers were showered and taken to a hospital.
